Cofrentes joins the localities in the Valencian Community that have a Consolidated Planning Text after the documentation was submitted to its city council by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP, the drafting company. With this new Consolidated Text, there are now eight municipalities whose planning has been compiled in a single document prepared by AUG-ARQUITECTOS, SLP, making it the leading firm in this type of work in the Valencian Community.
To date, Cofrentes’ planning was included in a General Urban Development Plan, eleven amendments, a Special Wind Energy Plan, and a Special Protection Plan. These documents, definitively approved between 2003 and 2024, were drafted by different teams and offered a wide variety of content and graphic expressions, making them difficult and misleading to consult. With the new Consolidated Planning Text for Cofrentes, the various urban planning instruments are now compiled in a single document that combines the written regulatory section with the graphic section, prepared on an updated and high-quality cartographic basis.
The planning plans in the Consolidated Text have been adapted to Decree 65/2021, of May 14, of the Consell, regulating the Digital Urban Planning Platform and the presentation of urban and territorial planning instruments. This will allow for faster and more precise progress in drafting the General Structural Plan and the Detailed Planning Plan, work also being carried out by the firm AUG-ARQUITECTOS SLP.
